We are proud to work alongside many individuals, causes, and organizations as they Take A Stand for what they believe in and help us Take A Stand.  There are many ways for you to partner with us, most easily by connecting with us and “demanding” to bring our film to your town.  But we want to be helpful to you, too, beyond promoting your stories and videos.  Below are a few ways how:

We are looking for Sponsors of our Take A Stand Tours for middle school and high school.  Individuals, foundations, or organizations that believe in our mission are encouraged to contact us to collaborate on this worthy cause.

Build/donate to the EFEX (Encouraging the Filmmaking Experience) Project which is the community-based, participatory filmmaking process used to shoot Bilal’s Stand. This community-based filmmaking style empowers – rather than exploits – the people that it represents. Therefore urban youth were responsible not only to help develop the plot and dialogue, but were cast to deliver lines as they would from their personal experiences. The majority of the locations, talent, and crew were volunteered resources as the grassroots movement to create Bilal’s Stand grew. EFEX has a curriculum and current home partnership with the University of Michigan and Detroit but is growing to new urban centers.

Organize with us.  Volunteer to take action in local towns.  Create small films for causes you believe in.
